sunshine coast retirement village merry christmas

December Caloundra Gardens Village News

November saw a very successful Melbourne Cup lunch, with fashions on the field, sadly there could be only one winner. There were a lot of sweep winners as well.

New residents to our Sunshine Coast village have moved in and hopefully settled for Christmas. Huge welcome to Christine and Jacqui we do hope they enjoy their new home…

A huge welcome back into the village, Christine, who has moved back to the village with her new fiancé, Roy, who was already a resident, they have bought a home together and Roy has carried Chris across the threshold…. Well sort of ……

Beware of the ‘Silly’ Season

Come along and see our fairyland of Christmas lights, within the village. Christmas Lights that we management, have put up around the Village and the residents decorate their homes with loads of interesting goodies as well. The Village is starting to look all festive with the residents who go to a lot of trouble to make the Village look festive.

If you would like to do a drive through, or, take a walk to look at the lights we would love to see you.

Street Christmas parties within the village are an established tradition, which helps residents to celebrate a successful year and to meet up with residents you don’t usually get to meet up with very often – while affording everyone with a night of fun food and a wine or two?

Also planned is the traditional Christmas Dinner Dance for only $15.00 a head, 2 courses + entertainment.

A Christmas Carol & Decorated Buggy Parade for the 13 December, so if you’re nearby call in and join in the carols. We’d love to see you.

The Management and Staff of Caloundra Gardens wish you and all of our future Residents a Very Happy Magical Safe Christmas and New Year.
