What an exciting time to be living at Caloundra Gardens. There is a new energy to the village with new residents settling in putting their mark on homes, with new gardens and renovations to some, also new paint colours to the outside ………
Just love this time of year when everything is in full swing for a new change in the Social Club committee, Melbourne Cup Day and Christmas and New Year functions are all planned, starting last light with a Cocktail Party and cocktails are only $3.00 each, now there is good value.
In the last Village News I mentioned a special dinner for Talent Night. We have loads of talent in the village and I’m guessing some untapped talent as well. Maybe we will see this next year? The evening started with the funniest line dance I have ever seen ……. Boxes looking like ladies, line dancing!!!!!!! Yes that’s what they are so very funny.
Then the “Ladies” of the night, didn’t know we had so many good looking “Ladies” amongst us, in their figure hugging dresses and high heeled shoes, forget about the hairy chests and legs!!!! We also had a triple piano recital, and Ian always entertains us with at least one fantastic song, maybe next time, just one more? Graham was also half man half lady sooo funny when he forgot to turn …. We all had a ball, many thanks to the organising committee headed up by Helen Henson, well done.
The “Spud” night was a huge success, hot potatoes slit at the top with fillings to put in, smelt really good and tasted even better, was so popular everyone is asking when the next one is. Maybe one day soon …….
This Saturday is Trivia Night ……..
The gardens in the Village have grown again, Trev has been busy planting again in the pool area, along with some new lounges its looking really good, and the grass is always growing, so the boys have been busy …….
